THE INVASION MIND

It’s not that it is genetic thing to have a Invasion mentality, While in history almost all nations were colonist at some point in their history.
It was mostly in human history that nation Invasion other nations because of needs such as need of food or water or even to have more safe borders, that’s always happen and it’s understandable what ever you agree or not but there was a logic behind it.
After that introduction which was important to see how it is very strange that we (EGYPTIANS) mostly have Invasion mind while:
Egyptians live on 8% of their land, which mean there is no land needs!
Egypt does’t has a real border problems
IT is more clear to hear that idea from people who had nothing before 1952 and after few officers took a control of country in 1952 and had that idea of REDIVIDE THE WEALTH and give those people land for free which make them believe in Owen for free if you just have power!
While I conversation with other guys in Egypt about the economic situation MUST someone AT LEAST mention that it would be better if we still OWEN OUR SUDAN!!!(Simply everyone will swear to god Egypt and Sudan were one country but please till me when and how that happen???) And some will go more haters and talk about when we (EGYPTIANS) had control over the gulf countries and their oil (they mean the period before oil while Egypt was help Arab a little with annual bailout before oil time) AND YES THAT’S OUR CULTURE NOW IF WE DO A GOOD THING FOR YOU WE WILL REMIND YOU BY IT FOR NEXT 500 YEARS AT LEAST!!!
And some simply would go back in history till the time of ANDALUS (Islamic Spain) and talk about the luxury life and the WHITE SLAVE WOMEN!! You can easily feel the sorry tune in the voice.
With this type of conversation I was wonder do people really realize what they talking about? Do they understand that even if that is stilling part of Egypt it will have people live on have rights?
Simply what people realize that is if it is OUR land none has rights except us and the original residents such a slaves!!!
Even when Egyptians scream and talk about Palestinians its just because most Egyptians, (I being optimist that not ALL) believe 100% from plastin is part of Egypt and there is no any feelings to Palestinians at all, my proof is how Palestinian have been treat in Egypt from EGYPTIANS (I’ll write about that from real story I seen for my self in Egypt).
At last it was a human thing to live with all those feeling and dreams to Owen other lands and sources for free, simply if most of people live around you think this way how you can feel safe they won’t use the same logic and take your home or your life it self? It is a nation culture.

OBAMA DOORMAN!!

We used to use the term (doorman) in Egypt to describe someone has a dark skin!
First I didn’t think it’s something against skin color and it’s just a name people gave for Nubians (dark skin) who live in north Egypt because they were almost exclusively control and have all jobs like doorman, cook, waiter and gardener for all rich people and British and all other Europeans lived in Egypt before 1952.
I was thinking while people call them that name they just meant that but I find out it’s not that what they meant.
They meant to put them down because of their jobs, and yes in Egypt your job is one important factor how people will treat you.
After 1952 the job of doorman becomes exclusively for people from Upper Egypt but they still call Nubians the doormen! Even that club in Alexandria, Egypt which most members are Nubians they call it doormen club!!
So the issue not just the job then there should be something else. The issue is their skin color that make others put them down and that exactly what called racism!
In Egypt the common view for Sudanese as extension of Nubian so for sure the same ideas apply for sundaes included seeing them silly( they don’t lie much as we do in Egypt) and flat mind (they have clear ideas not screwed like us in Egypt) and lazy (simply they don’t worship money as Egyptians).
It’s not unusual to hear people in Egypt while describe a Sudanese person without put him down use term like Sudanese BUT smart! Sudanese BUT has good heart! and for sure the most wonderful one in country like Egypt to hear that Sudanese BUT educated!!!!! Please I don’t want to talk about education in Egypt.
We in Egypt grow up with that idea put in mind we are better RACE than dark skin people whatever our blood belong to (Arab ,Turkish ,Berber –Moroccans ,etc)
Most of us just eat the idea as a loser find way to convince him/her self there are people less than them.
That explain why Egyptians are silent as Muslims about how Muslims in Africa live because they are black and not important.
That’s explaining why Egyptians feel humiliated if you call them Africans.
That’s even explain why in USA it’s very rare to see an Arab has friendship with a white American( I don’t say there is none but it’s not common) that because Arabs feel an easy dealing with white who are better but easier to deal with black who are less!!!!!!
After this it’s not surprising that Egyptians don’t respect OBAMA so much because he has dark skin! And not surprise at all to find out most Egyptians call him a DOORMAN.

For sure till I understand that point I used to say same words and use same terms so from here I APOLOGY for all dark skin if I used any word sound bad but believe me I didn’t really realize that then it’s a nation culture and for sure there are Egyptians still use it without realizing how bad it is but I believe we must face ourselves as first step for treatment
