Couple weeks ago at the day of (eid al fitr) I went to eat at Lebanese restaurant has a little patio outside and that exactly what I needed at that sunny day after whole month from not eating at daytime.
Once I arrived there the Lebanese owner came to greet me for the (eid) and offered my nice table outside and as usual after I done with food he came back to have conversation with me.
I must mention here mike is the first Arabic speaker arrive in area here from 32 years ago and I met him after I move here by few month while I was searching for any restaurant serve middle east food here.
At some point in our conversation he asked me if I miss home I answered him I miss some people and family and sure if anyone spent some time in any place will remember and miss it somehow but not that I’m dying from miss home, he also asked me why I don’t have lunch at mosque as the mosque has lunch for (eid) I answered him that because I don’t like to feel MINORTIE !!!
That take our conversation for new point that he told me he never felt as stranger here but he thought that because his life style is life style for most of people here but for Muslim as me and as ALL Muslims he know I must feel stranger , again I said no I don’t feel stranger because I’m not!!
I explain for him my point of view that it’s not because I’m little different that mean I must be stranger because everyone is unique when you come close to people but the reason people feel minorities and stranger only if they are FAKE AND DOUBLE FACES.
I told him that because its easier for immigrants –immigrants to be honest about some points ALWAYS when someone feel stranger and minority that person ALWAYS (I repeat) talk with hate about AMERICANS, so that is the deal that person feel stranger and blame AMERICANS( Hispanic and Arabs definition to Americans is WHITE only !!!!) they don’t come close to them and here I can give that extreme example for couple Hispanic people believe that AMERICANS must learn Spanish and speak Spanish to Hispanic because English is hard!!
With Arab Muslims its kind of different a little and as example for how double faces some of them are, they don’t have any problem to work and have friendships with AMERICANS and in mosque they pray and ask god to PUNISH Americans and take their money and houses and everything and give it to them (the Muslims) *
I argued that when I drive and there are 50 car follow the law and one doesn’t then I belong to the 50 so I’m not minority, when 90% pay tax and I’m one of them I’m not minority, when I try to be good person and stay away of trouble as most of people that I’m MAJORTY .

My husband is missing Morocco very much. Everyday he talks about going back for a visit. I feel sorry for him. I know what it is like to be away from my family.
ReplyDeleteI agree that there are good people and bad people everywhere. Some think that America should be white only. But this country was made up of immigrants. We should accept it as it is and move forward.
for sure every one gonna miss the place he or she spent most of life at but the bad point is that some people don't want to deal with community and LOVE to play VICTIM, i hear from different people from different backgrounds a wierd things when they talk about AMERICANS and same people would fill the world screaming from little reaction against them from ANYONE and for real they pay that back with thier kids , simply when thier kid says i'm american and my parents are mexican or arabs or what ever.

الحقيقه هو من الطبيعى فعلا ان البنى ادم يفضل يشتاق للمكان الى ربي فيه لبلده زي ما بيشتاق لامه حتى لو كانت ماتت
لكن انا الحقيقه باخد على المهاجرين الى بيكونوا عايشين فى دول سنين طويله وواخدين الجنسيه وبياكلوا من خير البلد دي وبعدين ياخدوا منهم مواقف عدائيه
وزي ما انت بتقول مثلا يتمنوا زوال نعمتهم ويكفروهم وحاجات زي كده
طيب انا افهم لما حد يعمل كده وهو فى بلده واقول بلده الى ما اخترهاش وممكن يكون مضايق منها
انما المهاجرين اختاروا بلادهم الجديده
والمفروض يكنوا لها الولاء
طبعا مش على حساب دينهم ولا وطنهم الاصلي
انما على الاقل ما يقفوش موقف عدائي بدون سبب واضح
ومش معنى انى مختلف عنهم انى اعتقد نظرية المؤامره واقول كلهم بيكرهوني

Thanks for visit, i wish i was here to serve a hot tea but maybe next time, the main problem actually that many muslims think that islam is how they lived in arabic countries and they can't use the morals and islam lessons from quraan and sunah (prphet mohamed tradtions) and use it nowadays and many also get wrongly think arab countries in bad conditions because of islam so they leave the whole thing, and to see that so clear it's appear in egyptian christians here! they always say it's hard for them to practice thier religion in egypt when they came here they made thier owen commuinty and also feel strangers!! and many of them even change to be catholic or any type else thinking the problem in religion!BUT FOR SURE IT IS NOT....
